The Advanced Writing and Composition course aims to provide students with further insights into the techniques of essay writing, thus preparing them for the Writing component of the EYE (English Yardstick Exam) and writing literary essays. The main focus of the course will be on the writing of argumentative essays. Another key component of the course is paraphrasing and summary writing, which are essential not only for producing effective conclusions but also for students’ future research papers. In addition, selected aspects of grammar will be revised throughout the semester to further enhance the quality of students’ essays.
