This course is intended to prepare students for the reading and speaking components of the EYE (English Yardstick Exam) by fostering proficiency in reading and oral communication. Instruction will focus on the application of reading strategies across a variety of authentic texts and task types, as well as systematic vocabulary development. In addition, students will participate in structured speaking activities conducted individually, in pairs, and in groups. Successful participation requires the completion of all assigned readings and related tasks prior to class, as well as consistent, active engagement during classroom sessions.
